Large plume of smoke in Louisville caused by fire in Portland neighborhood. What we know

A large plume of smoke visible to Louisville drivers was caused by a fire in Louisville's Portland neighborhood, a spokesperson with the Louisville Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded to a fire in a garage at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in 1828 Northwestern Pkwy., LFD spokesperson Donovan Sims said. He said the fire was controlled by 9:50 a.m.

Sims said there were no injuries.
