It's been all-but-confirmed that Apple will launch the next iPhone at a Sept. 9 event, so the latest leak is really just piling on. A picture, purportedly of the user guide for the iPhone 6, shows a diagram of the potential Apple flagship with the words "Tuesday September 9" and the time "9:41" on its lock screen.

The site responsible for this tidbit, Nowhereelse, has released images in the past that proved to be accurate. In a similar leak last year, the French tech blog showed off a picture of a user guide with an iPhone 5s home screen on it. The time and date on that display were "9:41" and "10" (as seen on the calendar app), respectively. Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 5s and 5c on Sept. 10 last year, so it's likely that this new material confirms a Sept. 9, 2014 launch.

From the image, it also appears that the Sleep/Wake button has been moved from the top of the phone to the right edge. Confirming previous rumors, the volume buttons along the phone's left edge also look longer than the current iterations. The guide also appears to confirm that the next-generation iPhone will be called the iPhone 6.

The possible upcoming Apple flagship is expected to sport blazing-fast A8 processor, a strong sapphire screen and improved camera features. The Cupertino, California-based company has yet to officially invite media to the speculated Sept. 9 launch event, but execs have said that Apple's lineup for 2014 is its best product pipeline in 25 years.

In addition to the next iPhone, Apple is also expected to unveil a smartwatch, reportedly called the iWatch or iTime, as well as several new iPads. Rival Samsung is expected to launch a new Galaxy Note device at the upcoming IFA conference in Berlin at about the same time. Get your popcorn ready; the tech titans should be battling it out this September for smartphone supremacy.
