Leaked pics reveal a completely redesigned BlackBerry Passport

If you loved the design of last year’s BlackBerry Passport, it looks like BlackBerry has something even better in the works. N4BB has obtained some pictures of a device called the BlackBerry Oslo that appears to be a redesigned BlackBerry Passport that smooths out a lot of the original device’s rough edges. And we mean that literally — one of the most striking things about the Oslo is that it now features smoother, rounder corners and edges compared to the sharp and boxy Passport, as you’ll see in the picture below.

According to N4BB, the device features a steel frame combined with silver plastic for the main body, which reminds us a little bit of the look of HTC’s flagship phones, particularly with the look of the speaker grill on the top of the device’s front panel.

As far as specs go, N4BB says that they’re identical to the ones on the original BlackBerry Passport: “2.2GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon processor, 13 MP Camera, 3 GB RAM, 3450 mAh battery.” In other words, this is definitely a redesigned version of the Passport and not a sequel in any meaningful sense.
