Lester Holt Returns To ‘NBC Nightly News’ Tonight
Holt tweeted this morning that he’s returning to the newscast tonight, one night after Savannah Guthrie filled in while Holt dealt with a family medical emergency, NBC News said yesterday. It had been unclear how long he would be gone.

Holt has been pulling in strong ratings for NBC Nightly News, anchoring the flagship newscast since before the division announced it was suspending Brian Williams for six months without pay and continuing to investigate claims he’s made in his capacity as NBC News managing editor and newscast anchor.
