Liam Payne Confirms One Direction’s Next Single Is ‘Perfect’ As Harry Styles Jokes About Apple Music’s Blunder

After an awkward tweet-and-delete scenario courtesy of Apple Music, Liam Payne and Harry Styles have confirmed that One Direction’s next single to be taken from upcoming album ‘Made In The A.M.’ is called ‘Perfect’.

A song clearly written about us. FINALLY.

It’s probably also the self-portrait equivalent in music, considering those four boys are pretty darn perfect themselves.

The single was accidentally announced by Apple Music, who tweeted: “The next track off #MadeInTheAM is #Perfect.”

Uh-oh, spaghetti-os.

Realising that they’d made a teeny, tiny, minute, totally unnoticeable error by making A RUDDY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT BY ACCIDENT, the folks at Apple Music quickly deleted the tweet - But not before some savvy internet people managed to nab a screenshot.

After spending the next few hours wondering what it could all possibly mean (probably a new single but who knows), Liam and Harry have finally put us out of our misery and confirmed that Apple Music DID let the cat out of the bag prematurely.

SO, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, it’s official. One Direction’s next single, reportedly written by Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson (HELLO), is called PERFECT.

PER-FECT.

Liam was the first one to confirm the exciting news, writing: “Looks like the cat’s out of the bag!!! Our next single is Perfect. Can’t wait for you all to hear it!”

Hazza then took the opportunity to joke about Apple Music’s error, tweeting: “Our next single is called ‘Perfect’. Looking forward to you hearing it, hope that you like those apples.”

Louis and Nialler are yet to comment and the boys are yet to make any mention of when the heck they might chuck the new track into our ears.

However, the track already sounds dreamier than a cloud made of marshmallows, and we have no doubt that it’ll probably make us cry the whole way through. Because FEELS.

Oh, and considering how they Beyoncé’d the last single, we’re probably not going to get any sleep between now and the release of ‘Perfect’. Well, we don’t want to miss anything, right?

Don’t leave us waiting too long please, boys.
