    Libertadores: Atlético Nacional golea 4-0 a Peñarol en Montevideo

    MONTEVIDEO (AP) — El Atlético Nacional colombiano dió el martes una muestra de fútbol y eficacia y con dos goles de Jherson Córdoba y otros dos de Dorlan Pabón aplastó a Peñarol 4-0 para dejarlo último en el Grupo 8 de la Copa Libertadores.

    Córdoba anotó a los ocho y en los descuentos en la primera etapa. Pabón marcó el tercero a los 64 y el cuarto a los 79 para completar una goleada histórica que deja a Nacional puntero en la zona con dos victorias.

    El cuadro colombiano ya había dado cuenta 2-0 de Universidad de Chile, mientras que Peñarol, subcampeón vigente, había caído en su visita al Godoy Cruz de Argentina por 1-0.

    La derrota deja a los aurinegros con el agua al cuello y escasas perspectivas de poder avanzar en el torneo que ganaron cinco veces.

    Fue total el dominio del equipo colombiano, bien plantado y con pases exactos. Como contracara, Peñarol estuvo totalmente desacomodado, con pelotazos infructuosos que en contadas oportunidades pusieron en aprietos al equipo visitante.

    Atlético Nacional tuvo una actuación de alto nivel buscando circular la pelota con toques hasta generar un dilema que Peñarol no pudo resolver. Mostró, además, una sólida defensa, junto a un mediocampo parejo donde Macnelly Torres y Alexander Mejía fueron pilares en la distribución.

    A los 24 minutos, el conjunto colombiano estuvo a punto de convertir el segundo gol por intermedio de Pabon pero, cuando Carini estaba superado, el balón pegó en el palo.

    A los 45 minutos, John Valoy le entró fuerte a Nicolás Freitas pero fue el colombiano quien se lesionó y salió en camilla de la cancha.

    En el segundo tiempo, fue mayor el dominio del conjunto colombiano, que en ningún momento se apartó de su esquema de fútbol bien jugado y rápido. Así fue tejiendo una durísima derrota para Peñarol ante unas 42.000 personas en el estadio Centenario.

    La próxima presentación de Peñarol será el 6 de marzo cuando se enfrente a Universidad de Chile, mientras que Nacional visitará dos días después a Godoy Cruz.
