Lil Boosie Writes On Instagram That He Has Kidney Cancer, Later Deletes Post

Lil Boosie just took to his Instagram account to reveal saddening news concerning his health. Earlier Wednesday morning (Nov. 25), the Baton Rouge native posted a picture with a caption that states he’s been diagnosed with kidney cancer.

“I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys. Prayer is power that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie,” the “Retaliation” rapper wrote. Now, the post has been deleted from his account, but a few screenshots began to float around social media.

This news arrives a year after the 33-year-old artist was released from prison for pleading guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession charge and probation violation. Boosie has also been battling diabetes, which came to the the forefront during a performance in New York City earlier this year. While on stage, he soon fell ill because he was unable to take his medication due to its mistaken location in Philadelphia, Penn. instead of NYC.
