Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York early Wednesday morning for hitting someone with her Porsche and then fleeing the scene. Lohan was parking her Cayenne SUV at the Dream Hotel shortly after midnight when she allegedly hit a pedestrian, TMZ reports. "The man, who the NYPD says is in his 30s, complained of being struck, and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for a knee injury," according to ABC News's Kevin Dolak. TMZ reported that "he was not knocked down or dragged, and didn't have any visible injuries." Then cops arrested LiLo when she came out of a hotel's club at about 2:30 a.m., and took her to a precinct, where they gave her a desk appearance ticket for leaving the scene of an accident, and released her. ABC, TMZ, and the New York Post all reported no alcohol was involved, so all in all it was a fairly subdued scandal. Except it may have larger ramifications for the starlet, per TMZ (capitalization theirs): "This arrest could absolutely trigger a probation violation in Lindsay's jewelry theft case because one of the conditions of probation is she OBEY ALL LAWS."
