    Lindsay Lohan & Woody Allen Grab Dinner In Manhattan

    With Scarlett Johansson busy kicking butt in "The Avengers," has Woody Allen found himself a new muse?

    The legendary writer/director was spotted having dinner with none other than Lindsay Lohan in New York City on Saturday night.

    The duo dined at Philippe's in Manhattan, before leaving in separate cars.

    While both parties were peppered with questions from TMZ reporters as they exited the restaurant, neither Woody nor Lindsay chose to divulge details regarding the nature of their meeting.

    A source for the website (who is reportedly close to the actress) told TMZ Woody and Lindsay "have been friends for years now," and that the Oscar-winning director is one of Lindsay's "biggest supporters -- never jumping on the judgment bandwagon."

    "American Idol"/"So You Think You Can Dance" producer Nigel Lythgoe happened to be dining at Phillipe's Friday evening as well and Tweeted about seeing the pair.

    "I just had dinner in #Phillipe's [sic] in New York. I'm sure Lindsay Lohan and Woody Allen were on the table in the corner?" Nigel Tweeted. "Both looking good!"
