    New Line of "Band On Demand" Song Construction Kits Offers Inspirational Tool for Songwriters and Producers

    Band On Demand instrument loops help songwriters put together a high-quality track in programs like Garageband, Cakewalk or Pro Tools for a fraction of what it would cost to hire backing musicians.

    Designed for both beginning and advanced songwriters, the new line of "Band On Demand" Song Construction Kits feature thousands of matching guitar, bass, keyboard, drum and other loops organized into easy-to-use "Song Sets."

    For everything from Garageband to Pro Tools to Cakewalk, musicians can write and arrange their own songs using the riffs, chords patterns and loop length they choose. Even if a songwriter already plays guitar, they will find Band On Demand to be an inspiring songwriting and production tool. It's like having a group of on-call studio musicians in the computer. Whether writing a song or producing background music, users just drag and drop the chords they choose into their favorite software or DAW. It's that easy.

    "We created this for songwriters who want to be inspired and then build a track out right away," says co-creator Quint Randle. "It's great for sketching out ideas or recording high-quality song demos."

    "Until now, song construction kits were okay for tracking 30-second commercials, but with Band On Demand songwriters get the instruments and chords they need to write and produce a real song," he continues.

    Vol. 1 is designed to create pop/rock songs while Vol. 2, "Contemporary Country," includes thousands of Telecaster, Strat and baritone electric guitar loops, dobro guitar loops, Taylor acoustic guitar loops, Fender P-bass loops, 6-string banjo loops, Hammond-style organ loops, drum loops and percussion loops.

    Each volume ($59.95) includes six "Song Sets" with each instrument loop played in 12 chords -- enough to cover the most commonly used major and minor chords in two different keys. Each Song Set features 5-7 melodic instruments plus drum and percussion loops. Also included are more than 100 "open strums" -- each three to four bars long -- designed for use in any of the six Song Sets.

    Band On Demand is available in Acidized WAV format for programs like Cakewalk and Pro Tools and Apple Loops formats for programs like Garageband and Logic. Users can download the files immediately from the Drums On Demand site or order a data DVD disc.
