Little Door Stakes Out Prime Westside Patio

Third Street’s Little Door and Little Next Door have long been known as the places where attractive diners mingle with a mostly European waitstaff in a luxuriously bohemian atmosphere.
Now the French-meets-Morocco-style spot has expanded to one of the city’s most desirable patios — the quaint space across from the Brentwood Country Mart. This branch is a bit more formal (and pricier) than the original, though the menu is similar, with French dishes meeting up with Mediterranean-influenced plates.

Judd Apatow, Michael Keaton and J.J. Abrams are among those who have stopped by since the fall opening. On Sunday and Monday nights, a special French-Moroccan prix fixe menu is served.

Eat: Grilled marinated octopus, couscous Royale, grilled sea bass

Drink: Four-pepper smoke cocktail with La Puritita Mezcal, rhubarb with Reyka vodka and orange rhubarb

Go: 246 26th St. Santa Monica
