Live Interior 3D Pro for Mac review

A 2D/3D interior design modeling program with CAD graphic elements, Live Interior 3D Pro for Mac incorporates preset designs and ready-made objects, being easy to set up and use, even by beginners. You'll like its good performance and lots of presets, but the cluttered interface may confuse you.

Pros

Easy to Use: Easy to use right from the start, Live Interior 3D Pro for Mac will appeal to you even if you haven't used similar programs in the past. This makes it a good choice for amateur designers as well as anyone with an interest in the field.

Good performance: When toggling between 2D and 3D views, the rendering time is almost negligible.

Lots of presets: Because a lot of objects are included in the software as presets, you don't have to spend time creating the objects yourself. The interface allows the easy movement and rearrangement of the preset objects -- if you want to put in an oven, you just drag it from the inventory and drop it in the desired location.

Cons

Cluttered: The interface is loaded with features and options, and there are also a lot of objects on the screen plan view, so that in trying to find the right object, you first have to browse through many others. The object inventory that sits on the sidebar needs to be better organized.

Too basic: As an interior design tool, care was given to ease the room design process. This, however, may make the app less appealing for professionals.

No slide bars: Even though the app is meant to be basic and small, this does not excuse the lack of slide bars (both horizontal and vertical).

Bottom Line

The Live Interior 3D Pro has a lot going for it, principally the use of preset designs in a small-size program, and the high number of ready-made objects. In terms of interior design, it fulfills the essential requirements of a designer. The lack of slide bars is not a deal breaker but, together with the cluttered interface, it does make the app look somewhat amateurish.
