On Sunday night, LL Cool J revealed he was in full support of CBS' Grammys dress code, which asked stars to make sure "buttocks and female breasts" were "adequately covered."

"I don't think it's unfair to remind musicians that there's some families watching in the middle of the country and all around the world," LL, who hosted the show, told Access Hollywood' s Shaun Robinson on the Grammys red carpet. "They don't need any extra things happening for the families... This isn't the Vegas version of the Grammys."

The rapper/actor said sometimes, musicians, need to be reminded what is acceptable at a formal event.

"I don't think it's the worst thing in the world," he said of the dress code. "We're... talking about musicians, you gotta remember... They'll come here with a clear shower curtain on... We're not talking about normal people."

But while LL supported the dress code, there were a few people that teetered on the edge of the guidelines.

Jennifer Lopez showed up on the red carpet with a deep slit, all the way up to her hip, Alicia Keys wore a dress on stage that showed the underside of her breasts and Kelly Rowland also wore a dress that had see-thru slits that revealed various parts of her body.
