Fire crews spent Thursday night into Friday morning on the scene of a deadly blaze at a home in Farmers Branch. The flames started around 9:00 p.m. and an 86-year-old woman living inside was killed. Farmers Branch police officers were the first to arrive on the scene and found the home fully involved with smoke and flames pouring out. Full Story »

Police in Arlington are investigating a murder that happened early Friday morning at an apartment complex along Fair Oaks Drive. According to the Arlington Police Department, two men broken into an apartment unit and shot one of the residents. A Wylie football coach is in jail, charged with sexual assault of a child. 26-year-old Bradley Glenn Thompson is the head coach of the Wylie High School Freshman football team, as well as a varsity offensive line assistant.
