• Elderly Woman Dies In Farmers Branch House Fire

  Fire crews spent Thursday night into Friday morning on the scene of a deadly blaze at a home in Farmers Branch. The flames started around 9:00 p.m. and an 86-year-old woman living inside was killed. • Rich Harden Agrees To 1-Year Deal With Rangers

  Rich Harden and the Texas Rangers completed a one-year contract Thursday that guarantees the pitcher $7.5 million. The deal calls for a $6.5 million salary next year and includes an $11.5 million mutual option for 2011 with a $1 million buyout.
