    A pedestrian was run down by a car on McCarter Highway in Newark on Friday morning. The driver left the scene. The victim is reportedly seriously injured.   • Teens Shot In Deadly Ambush

    A violent attack on two teenagers turned deadly in Lakewood, New Jersey early Friday morning. Police say Louis Garcia, 17, was shot and killed. His cousin, Fernando Reyes, 16, was shot in the chest and arm. Reyes is being treated at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Lakewood police say the teens were ambushed in an attempted robbery.
