A Statesville couple faces drug-related charges following a license checkpoint stop early Monday morning. Bobby Gene Johnson Jr., 54, and Tina M. Carroll, 47, both of Statesville, were arrested. Two people were charged with trespassing in response to complaints about damages to crops and property in northern Iredell County.
