  • Gas Fumes Ignite Garage Fire in Fresno

    Fire damaged a home in Northeast Fresno after gasoline fumes in the garage erupted.   • Man Struck by Train Expected to Survive

  • Burn Victims Celebrate the Holidays

    Saint Nick delivered gifts to young burn survivors during an annual holiday party. More than 400 families and friends  from all over the state came together for the party. Burn survivors and their families had a day filled with games, arts and crafts and the opportunity to meet Santa. Each burn survivor received a gift.   • Deadly Stabbing

    Fresno police questioned a man in a deadly stabbing Saturday night. The stabbing happened around 5:30 p.m. at Clark and Grant. Police said two men got into an argument and one apparently stabbed the other. The victim was found lying in an alley nearby. He later died at the hospital.     Saturday evening, Fresno City Fire was called out to three fires within a half an hour. All fires were at apartment complexes.     The wet weather played a role in a crash that led to an explosion at a gas station at Blackstone and Gettysburg in Fresno on Friday night. Witnesses said a young male heading southbound on Gettysburg lost control of his car and crashed into a gas pump causing it to explode and fly through the air on fire.     A Fresno family continued to clean up their home on Friday night after a suspected drunk driver put a damper on their holidays.     There is new information on the arrest of former Fresno City College Quarterback Emmanuel Lewis. He reportedly sold drugs during the entire 2009 football season when he was the Ram's starting quarterback. Clovis Police made the undercover deals with Lewis for four months.     The wet weather did not stop a holiday celebration in Fresno's Tower District on Friday night. As the rain poured down, Olive Avenue lit up.
