A Kansas man was arrested Friday after a high-speed chase ended in Port Lavaca. Police arrested Geronimo Vasquez, 28, of Junction City, Kan., after the gray 2008 Chevrolet Impala he was driving was stopped by law enforcement after a chase ended in town. Full Story »

Johnathon Craig Smith, 23, Port Lavaca, arrested by Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) for violation of probation. Full Story »

Peggy Marlene Jasso, Port Lavaca, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Upon her failure to appear, Judge Hernandez ordered that a capias be issued for Jasso’s re-arrest. Full Story »
