  • Man Recovering After Stabbing Near UK's Campus

    A man is recovering after a stabbing outside an apartment complex in Lexington. It happened on Lyndenhurst Place near UK's campus. We're told the victim, Stanley Sosbee, was stabbed several times. Witnesses said Sosbee was arguing with a woman in the parking lot. So far, no arrests have been made.   • Police Search For Reported Body On Railroad Tracks, Find Nothing

    Police spent about an hour early Tuesday looking for a reported body along some train tracks. Officials with Norfolk-Southern Railroad called police, saying a conductor spotted what appeared to be a body lying along the tracks.   • Woman Who Failed To Return From Work Release Back In Jail

    A Fayette County jail inmate who didn't return from a court-ordered work release is back behind bars. Officials said Wilma Rae Ivey was supposed to return to the jail on October 6, but did not. Monday night, Ivey was caught by sheriff's deputies and taken back to the Fayette County Detention Center. Ivey is now facing an escape charge.   • Stabbing Near UK Campus

    Lexington Police are investigating a stabbing that happened approximately 6:45 Monday night on Lynendurst Place in Lexington near the campus of the University of Kentucky.
