At least three people were injured when fire broke out at an apartment complex in Pulaski County. The fire started at the Colonial Village Apartments on Sycamore Street in Somerset. We're told one person was injured when they jumped from an upper level apartment. That person was airlifted to UK hospital, as well as a person who suffered burns. A fire raged through a Lawrenceburg strip mall Monday, damaging several businesses including a pet store. Officials said about a dozen animals died in the fire that started just before 7:30 p.m at the East Green Plaza. We're told six newborn puppies were among the animals that died at All About Pets. One Lexington group is making sure the men and women fighting overseas have a special holiday season. Monday night, Operation S.E.N.D. Christmas began producing care packages for soldiers. Lexington Police are investigating after a robbery at the Grapevine Bar in the Tates Creek Center. Police said two men robbed another man, a gun was fired and the suspects took off in an SUV. A man is recovering after a stabbing outside an apartment complex in Lexington. It happened on Lyndenhurst Place near UK's campus. We're told the victim, Stanley Sosbee, was stabbed several times. Witnesses said Sosbee was arguing with a woman in the parking lot. So far, no arrests have been made. Sosbee went into surgery Tuesday morning and is listed in fair condition at UK Hospital. Police spent about an hour early Tuesday looking for a reported body along some train tracks. Officials with Norfolk-Southern Railroad called police, saying a conductor spotted what appeared to be a body lying along the tracks. A Fayette County jail inmate who didn't return from a court-ordered work release is back behind bars. Officials said Wilma Rae Ivey was supposed to return to the jail on October 6, but did not. Monday night, Ivey was caught by sheriff's deputies and taken back to the Fayette County Detention Center. Ivey is now facing an escape charge. Lexington Police are investigating a stabbing that happened approximately 6:45 Monday night on Lynendurst Place in Lexington near the campus of the University of Kentucky. EMS in Lawrenceburg tell LEX 18 News a fire broke out in the strip mall on Hilltop Drive. Firefighters tell our crew on the scene the fire damaged a tanning salon and killed some pets in a pet store. Two people have been arrested in connection with the weekend murder of a Pulaski County man. Somerset Police arrested 26-year-old Rafael Robinson early Saturday morning, after pulling him over for driving without headlights. Funeral arrangements are set for a Pulaski County man found murdered in his home early Saturday morning. Police went to a home on McKee Street to speak to Homer Carrender, age 72, after finding his car a short distance from his apartment. A former high school teacher in Bourbon County pleaded guilty to three charges in a child pornography case n federal court Monday. What started as a police chase in Laurel County, ended with a meth lab taken out of operation. Few details are available at this point, but we're told the chase ended around the Pittsburg area of Laurel County.
