The Saline Ford Historical Preservation Society meets four times a year. At each meeting two or three people present reports on older houses in Ashland. At the July meeting I reported on the house at 1326 Dawes Street that my grandparents, Ada and Ralph Dean, lived in when my cousins and I were growing up. Full Story »

Froistad completed pre-deployment training at Fort McCoy, Sparta, Wis., in preparation for a subsequent deployment to Afghanistan to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
