    In its fourth gang crackdown of the year, the Mesa Police Department and the FBI made 187 arrests in a 20-day operation last month. The crackdown, “Operation Fall Freeze,” lasted from Nov. 2-21, and raised the total number of gang-related arrests for the year to 585, Mesa police announced during a press conference on Wednesday.     SCOTTSDALE - Scottsdale Police arrest burglary suspect after short foot chase. Wednesday morning around 3'45 a.m. the victim came home to find Alexander Pardo, 20, inside his home near 83rd Street and Jackrabbit. Pardo was attempting to take the victim's items.
