  • One Dead In Overnight Accident Near Granite City

    For the second day in a row a car crash has claimed a life. It happened around 2:15am Wednesday on northbound Route 3 in Granite City. A woman believed to be about 30 years old apparently lost control of her Nissan Pathfinder and hit the center guardrail which launched her and her vehicle in the air and struck the bottom of the Interstate 270 overpass.
