  • Dinner feeds hunger to eat, aid

    Although the St. Mary's Annual Thanskgiving Dinner was in a new location this year, volunteers dished out hundreds of free meals to returning diners and newcomers alike.   • 2 charged with aiding alleged murderer

    Two women were arrested Tuesday for allegedly helping a Montgomery County man flee the state after he allegedly killed his father in Schoharie County. Gerry King, 37, was caught in Connecticut on Nov. 17 and extradited to New York, state police previously said.     AFTON _ Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a burglary at Afton Country Store. Steven C. Barrows, 19, of Unadilla; Heather A. Wrench, 21, of Bainbridge; and Arnie J. Roe, 27, also of Bainbridge, were charged with third-degree burglary.
