Paso Robles -- Three teens have been arrested for burglaries. Sunday evening at about 5 o’clock, Paso Robles Police were called to a home on Hogan Place where a burglary was in progress. San Luis Obispo -- The Cal Poly student reported missing last week has been found dead. Officers found the body of 20-year-old Charles Tamae on the north east side of Madonna Mountain. Search and rescue teams found Tamae’s bike at the trailhead at the end of Serrano Heights Friday morning. Full Story »
San Luis Obispo -- An inmate who escaped from the California Men’s Colony last Monday was found in Fresno and arrested Thursday. Bryan Charles Sims was taken in to custody after being spotted in a car near a house where he’d been hiding out. Full Story »
Nipomo -- A fire in Nipomo destroyed a home Friday night. Cal Fire was alerted of the blaze on Pomeroy Road at about 11 o’clock. They arrived to find the two story home completely engulfed in flames. Both the human occupants were able to flee the house, but two dogs were killed in the blaze. Full Story »
