  • Cameron teen arrested in local burglary cases

    Charles Rey Porter, 19, was arrested at his home in Cameron on three burglary warrants Dec. 9. The warrants stem from a series of burglaries that began Nov. 19 with Carrasco’s restaurant, 118 N. Central, according to Cameron Police Lt. Kris Stringer. Full Story »

    Faith and the belief that his spirit lives on is what keeps the mother and sisters of JJ Urban going these days. The 24-year-old was killed Feb. 5, 2007 - beaten and stabbed 36 times in his home by someone he considered a friend, according to his mom, Lisa Condry. Full Story »

  • Tree of Angels honors victims, survivors of violent crime
