  • Sunnyside Escapee Caught

    YAKIMA -- A gang member who escaped from jail in Sunnyside in 2006 has been captured in Manzanillo, Mexico. The U.S. Marshals Service said Saturday that Aaron Lopez Garcia, 31, was arrested Friday at an ice cream factory by Colima State Police, assisted by U.S. Marshals. Full Story »

  • Chinook and Cayuse Passes Closed For Season

  • Delay In Winter Shelter Opening

    YAKIMA -- A program that provides emergency winter shelter for the homeless in Yakima is having an emergency of its own.
