    Local San Diego Salon Gila Rut Participates in AVEDA’s Congress 2011

    AVEDA’s festivities will begin with a large celebration followed by professional presentations, performances, business work-shops, tours and after-parties. Gila Rut Aveda Co-owner, Keri Davis, who also is attending, will be leading one of the business days with some of the most important industry leaders.     The ultimate gathering of beauty industry professionals, hair stylists and colorists, make up artists, students and salon owners will take place at AVEDA’s 2011 congress in Minneapolis, MN on October 1st through the 3rd. San Diego based Gila Rut Aveda Salon is proud to announce that 10 of their team members will be attending this exciting celebration. Co-owner, Karla Lopes-Martinez and Master Designer, Michael Soberanes will be arriving early to take part in the hair support team. Lopes-Martinez describes what some of their tasks at hand will be during this event: “Wednesday-Saturday our job will be to prepare the model's hair, Color hair wigs/ wefts, fittings, etc. And on Sunday the day of the main event, POW WOW we will be backstage supporting the Theatrical evening of bright lights & big style led by AVEDA's Global Creative Director, Antoinette Beenders. We are beyond excited for the opportunity to be working side by side with the master minds & trends setters of style."
