(KMOV) -- Fire crews were called to an overnight strip mall fire off Interstate 70 in Warrenton, MO. It started around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday and burned for about three hours.

(KMOV)- For the first time since the No Child Left Behind Act went into effect, an elementary school in the Rockwood district has failed to meet one of the standards. Parents who have children attending Ballwin Elementary were given the option of moving to another school in the district.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A federal prosecutor in St. Louis says 68 people have been indicted on charges related to methamphetamine production.

BEIJING (AP) -- Former East St. Louis track star Dawn Harper won the gold medal in the 100-meter hurdles at the Summer Olympics in Beijing today. Harper is a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School, where she won state titles in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglarizing several churches, and setting fire to one. The sentence was handed down Monday for 40-year-old Frank Allen Zdanowski. He had earlier pleaded guilty to 23 charges.

(KMOV) -- News 4 has learned that local police are cracking down on prostitution, and they're going to Craigslist to do it. The Maryland Heights police department is one of several local departments that are keeping an eye on the popular classified ads site.

(KMOV)- Police in Columbia, Illinois are working several leads trying to locate the suspects responsible for damaging a high school. At least two suspects were seen running after they set off an explosive device.
