MIDLAND Police are searching for a black Pontiac Grand Prix that they think collided with a bicyclist and then took off from the south side of the city, according to a news release from Midland Public Information Officer Tina Jauz.

ECISD trustees will meet Tuesday for two special meetings. At 5 p.m., trustees will meet at the administration boardroom to have a student expulsion appeal hearing. A closed meeting in which trustees will review the disciplinary matter will follow the hearing.

MIDLAND A scuffle at a Midland nightclub turned deadly early Saturday when an off-duty Midland police officer fatally shot a man that injured him and then charged him with a knife, according to a news release from Midland Public Information Officer Tina Jauz.
