The Tennessee Titans got quarterback Jake Locker and running back Shonn Greene back on the practice field on Thursday.
Locker, who has been out two weeks with a sprained hip and sprained MCL, did limited work, per TitanInsider, as did Greene.
Locker did individual, 7-on-7 and took a snap or two in team drills. Both players are expected to see an increase in their reps Thursday and Friday, barring setbacks. Of the two, Greene, who had his right knee scoped, would appear to have a better shot of playing Sunday against the 49ers.
“I think Shonn has a chance. He’ll do more tomorrow, and we’re going to think positively,” Titans coach Munchak said. “I would hope that he’s up and ready. How much he can do is another thing. It’s just a matter of if we feel things go well the next couple days, then we feel like he’d have a great chance to contribute on Sunday.”
Also, middle linebacker Colin McCarthy will start for an injured Moise Fokou (knee), and the Titans are making a switch at center from veteran Rob Turner to rookie Brian Schwenkie in an attempt to shore up an offensive line that has struggled in recent weeks.
