    Many people are discovering the delights of a woodburning stove and as Christmas approaches what better way to enjoy the cosy indoors than to be warmed by logs you have cut yourself?

    Woodburning stoves add a refined and sophisticated touch of class to any home; they are a little touch of affordable luxury. And, as the name suggests, they are fuelled by wood and this wood often needs to be cut to size. This is where a log splitter is ideal. Making the job of cutting logs effortless and even enjoyable, a log splitter couldn’t be easier to use.

    LogSplitterWorld offers a range of manual log splitters which are extremely easy to use, as well as electric and petrol splitters for the more adventurous. Or, if you prefer to warm up through some good old-fashioned manual labour, there are a range of chainsaws, axes and bow saws. (Oh and plenty of first aid equipment, just in case!)

    Included on the website is the latest range of manual and powered wood log splitters as well as some fantastic chainsaws and axes. The new products have been integrated seamlessly with the existing groups and products on the website, creating a simple and functional website that is easy to navigate and that provides an impressive level of detail on a variety of products.

    Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager, said: “We know there will be a demand for log splitters as well as the other accessories such as axes and saws, so we’ve taken great care when adding our new range of products to the website. We’ve ensured that all the relevant information as well as high quality images are there for each product. We’d like to think the website is really easy to use so it should be really straightforward for customers to find what they’re looking for.”

    LogSplitterWorld is another project from Toolbox, the sister company of the ever expanding Plumbworld empire. Plumbworld was an early pioneer of online trading, started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999 and was sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, Plumbworld now employ more than 50 people in their purpose built warehouse and offices and boast an astonishing 50 websites selling everything from nailguns and bathrooms to barbecues and multi tools. The business has a turnover in excess of £18 million and is growing at more than 20% year on year.
