Look How Much of the World Doesn't Use Social Media (or the Internet)

More British people may say they use social networking sites than Americans, but how many people in Pakistan are logging on? This chart from Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project looks at social media's global reach, but as an interesting aside it also reveals how many people say they don't use the Internet. Though the Web seems ubiquitous in America, 21 percent of U.S. respondents said they don't use the Internet. Putting that in perspective, though, as was pointed out on Twitter by Brett LoGiurato yesterday, 94 percent of Pakistani respondents said they don't go online.
