Lost Reunion at USA! An Island Alum Lands the Lead in Carlton Cuse's Alien Drama Pilot Colony

For those of you still lamenting the disappearance of Josh Holloway's handsome visage from your TV screens in the wake of CBS canceling Intelligence, this news might cheer you up.

The actor, who's best known for playing Sawyer on Lost, is reuniting with Lost co-creator Carlton Cuse for Colony, a new alien drama pilot Cuse is working on at USA, the network announced Friday.

Set in the far-in-the-future year of 2015, Colony follows characters living in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of alien occupation. Some people collaborate with the authorities, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.

Holloway will play lead character Will Bowman, a former FBI agent who, in order to protect his family, will join forces with the government to bring down a growing resistance movement. He'll have to make difficult choices as he attempts to balance keeping his family together with the simple act of surviving in a world where humans aren't in charge anymore.

The project is written and executive-produced by Cuse and Ryan Condal (Hercules). It marks the first time Cuse and Holloway have worked together since Lost ended in 2010.
