    Low-Cost Seminars on Using the Web to Grow Your Business

    Local Web marketing experts will share their expertise on how to use the Web to grow a business. Business owners and marketers in the MA - NH Merrimack Valley encouraged to attend lunchtime seminars.

    Dianna Huff, of DH Communications, Inc., in conjunction with Jim Somers, of Sonora DesignWorks, is hosting the first in a series of lunchtime “brown bag” seminars on how to use the Web to grow your business. The first seminar is being held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Atkinson Community Center from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $35 per person.     Somers, a 20-year Web design veteran and owner of Sonora DesignWorks in Newburyport, MA, will cover the top mistakes he sees small and mid-sized companies making with regard to Web design and hosting. Somers will give tips on how to avoid the more expensive design mistakes as well as share his expertise on some of the “red flags” business owners and marketers should be aware of when it comes to choosing Web designers and hosting companies.

    Huff, a business-to-business Web marketing expert and the President of DH Communications, Inc., developed the seminars as she often hears from business owners and marketers who don’t understand the complexities of today’s online marketing environment. “Everything is changing so rapidly,” says Huff. “Just last week Google came out with Google+, a brand new social media platform. Business owners and marketers are completely overwhelmed and can’t keep up with it all. My goal is to offer practical, hype-free information that people can put to use immediately to help them grow their businesses.”

    Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch as well as something to take notes with and business cards for networking.
