    MA Interactive Group is Committed to Providing Philanthropic Support, Using the Web to Help Find a Cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

    MA Interactive Group, a Chicago based digital agency, does their part to help in the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy through the launch of their new website design for “Rally For Ryan”. The website was created to promote the “Rally for Ryan” event set to take place Saturday November 5, 2011 and is dedicated to raising money in order to increase awareness for and fund researchers in hopes of ultimately finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Among promoting ticket sales for both the “Rally for Ryan” event and raffle, the website provides some information on current DMD research, the opportunity to donate to this research, and some brief insight into the life of the event’s honoree, 9-year-old Ryan Karlin of Naperville, IL, who was diagnosed with DMD at age 6.

MA Interactive’s most recent charitable endeavor is through the launch of the “Rally for Ryan” website. The main focus of the website is to raise awareness for the “Rally for Ryan” event and the cause it supports, the search to cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

    Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a fatal genetic disorder resulting in rapidly degenerative muscle loss starting in the legs and the pelvis. Although females can be affected, the disorder is much more common in males and symptoms usually appear around the age of 5 or 6. What begins as low endurance and muscle contractures rapidly evolves into problems such as muscle deformities, respiratory disorders, abnormal heart muscles, complete loss of ambulation by age 12, and eventual death around a patients’ late teens to early twenties.

    The Rally for Ryan” event, which takes place on November 15, 2011, will be held at the White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, Illinois and will feature live music, along with an open bar, a variety of different food, and a raffle for Cadillac SRX. MA Interactive Group's website design used for the "Rally for Ryan" website provides visitors with the opportunity to purchase tickets for both the “Rally for Ryan” event itself and tickets for the XRS raffle. The website also provides valuable information on current DMD research, the opportunity to donate to this research, and some brief insight into the life of the event’s honoree, 9-year-old Ryan Karlin of Naperville, IL, who was diagnosed with DMD at age 6.

    100% of profits from the event will go toward Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research and the hope that Ryan and other kids just like him will live long enough to have kids of their own one day.
