    Madonna, Elton John and David Furnish Make Up

    Madonna and Elton John are making nice. After the material girl said she didn't feel bad for beating out the rocket man to win the best original song Golden Globe (a category John thought he had locked down), John's husband, David Furnish, slammed her online. Now everyone's calmed down.

    "Wow! What a tempest in a teapot My comments regarding The Golden Globes have been blown way out of proportion," Furnish wrote on his Facebook page Thursday. Madonna's "Masterpiece" from her film "W.E." won best song over John's "Hello Hello" from "Gnomeo & Juliet" and Mary J. Blige's "Living Proof" from "The Help.

    "Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!" Furnish initially wrote on Facebook on Sunday. Backstage, Madonna quipped, "I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He's been known to get mad at me so I don't know. He's brilliant and I adore him so he'll win another award. I don't feel bad!"

      I'm so glad Madonna won a GG for her songwriting. She is under-acknowledged as a songwriter. One of her greatest artistic gifts IMO.

      The true sign of maturity is when you don't let your emotions flare up in such a public place as facebook. David's true character surfaced; it's quite sad really and I hope that Sir Elton can reign in David so he won't make a spectacle of himself again... in other words grow up you British snob!!

      When you have to qualify who the person is (Furnish) then...he's a nobody (himself). Even Elton had the good sense to know that it's just an award voted on by the press. Don't worry David...you'll still get to lounge around while your hubby makes the $$$

      Ughh! Old people who write corny songs.You people need to put on a Metallica album and rock out.Listen to "just a bullet away" and regain some credibility with yourself and assure yourself that you dont like corny music like Madonna or Elton,that you are beter than that.
