A magnitude-6.7 earthquake has shaken northern Chile but authorities say there are no reports of injuries or damage.
The U.S. Geological Survey says Wednesday's quake at 4:15 p.m. (3:15 p.m.; 2015 GMT) was centred 27 miles (44 kilometres) north of Vallenar.
The quake shook Chile's capital of Santiago, causing office buildings to sway.
