      What a waste of good money. He would do much better if he gave it to charity to help the poor , like an organization like the Salvation Army where 97% of collected money goes to helping the needy. How about Children hospitals.

      Hey Maher, how about you put that one mil to good use - help feed the poor, fund a community center, build a park, buy some school supplies - be part of the solution at the local level insted of throwing your money away on the corrupt two-party political machine. An effort like that could do wonders for that arrogant, leftist, God-hating, egotistical windbag ego you portray - and might give you an ounce of respect.

      For the last couple of days, Yahoo has posted stories about Bill Maher. It is obvious they hate Republicans and Independents and love Dem's. How can they continue to push the agenda that this man pushes? He has nothing but HATE toward those who do not share his beliefs. Yet, he always says the other side (Christians, Repubs, People in rural areas, and so on.) are the haters. This man is just full of himself. It is a shame he can not spend money to help people, but can spend money to get an idiot re-elected.
