Malaysia to deport Saudi accused of prophet insult

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysian authorities say they will deport a Saudi journalist accused of insulting the Prophet Muhammad on Twitter, despite concerns from rights groups that he may be persecuted at home.

Jiddah-based newspaper columnist Hamza Kashgari was detained Thursday upon his arrival in Malaysia. Some Saudis have reportedly made death threats against him or called for him to face criminal charges over remarks he tweeted that many considered offensive.

Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said Sunday that the 23-year-old Kashgari would be deported and that any charges against him are "a matter for the Saudi Arabian authorities."

Muhammad Afiq Mohamad Nor, a lawyer appointed by Kashgari's family, said he had obtained a court order to halt the Saudi's deportation.

If only that swine, Mohammed, had not been a lying, stealing, murdering pedophile, none of this would be happening.

If he is insulting Mohammad he's welcome in the USA. Heck, I will even let him stay at my house and help him find a job.

      They're not happy in Yemen.
      They're not happy in Afghanistan.
      They're not happy in Pakistan.
      They're not happy in Syria.
      They're not happy in Lebanon.

      So, where are they happy?
      They're happy in Spain
      They're happy in Australia.
      They're happy in England.
      They're happy in France.

      And whom do they blame?

      Not Islam..... Not themselves...
They blame the countries they are HAPPY IN!
And they want to change the countries they're happy in, to be like the countries they came from, where they were un-happy.

So called moderate muslims better get their heads out of the sand and start condemning extremists. When Sharia law comes to the West, it will be the moderate Muslims that have embraced Western culture, that the extremists will be coming after first. You won't be able to hide for long.

The Blessed Prophet just tweeted me like, twenty minutes ago that the infidel should be given five million dollars, two kilos of heroin, a couple of virgins, and placed on a plane destined for the Caribbean. I'll get you more details when the Blessed Prophet tweets again.

Really? Really? Did Madonna have to go into hiding when she used a crucifix as a prop? Did Sinead O'Conner have to relocate to a non-Christian majority country when she tore up a picture of the Pope? Were there attempts on their life by Christians? Satirists and political cartoonists depict Jesus and Christians in derogatory manners all the time and yet when has any "xtian" bombed, killed or kidnapped one of these. Yes, religious fanatics are dangerous, but I'd be more scared of secular groups. More people have been killed in history by atheist totalitarian dictators than by Christians.
