Man Crashes Into NYC Bus With A Car Full of 64 Bags of Crack

One New York man crashed into a bus while evading police due to the 64 bags of crack in his car.

When a bus crashed into a house in Jamaica, Queens on Saturday night, no one thought the story could get much worse. After all, what's worse than a vehicle — let alone a bus — crashing into a residence? But, never one to be outdone by Florida, one New York man just made the story worse by having caused the crash while evading police due to the 64 (!) bags of crack in his car.

According to the Daily News, Chevon Parchment, 24, was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt when he fled the scene and ran a red light. His car then smashed into the Q113 bus — which tried to swerve away — and caused the bus to demolish a fence and two parked cars on its way into the living room of a man celebrating his 74th birthday. Yikes. Twelve were injured, and one birthday was definitely ruined. Cops found "64 bags of crack cocaine" in Parchment's car and "charged him with drug possession, reckless endangerment and obstructing governmental administration." Lesson learned, kids: always wear your seatbelt, especially when you have 64 bags of crack in your car.
