Man dead after vehicle catches fire in Lebanon

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man has died after a car caught fire in Lebanon Friday afternoon.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said the fire happened on Old Shannon Road Friday, Feb. 2.

Authorities said deputies were called to the area to investigate a vehicle fire. When investigators and medical personnel arrived, they found a man who had died from his injuries sustained in the fire.

The sheriff’s office said the fire has been extinguished and there is no threat to the surrounding area.

No other information was released.
