York County Coroner IDs man who died after being found unresponsive in a pool in Penn Twp.

A 71-year-old man died Saturday evening after being found unresponsive in a pool in Penn Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

The man has been identified as Richard Flickinger of the 3100 block of Grandview Road.

An autopsy was done Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, and the cause and manner of his death are pending additional testing, a news release states.

Flickinger was found unresponsive in the pool around 7:45 p.m. at his residence. Emergency responders tried to revive him, but he did not regain consciousness and died at the scene, the release states.

He was pronounced deceased at 9:20 p.m.

Penn Township Police are investigating.
