On the Market: Okay Plaza Apartment Wants More Than Double 2008 Ask

Curbed New York

A second-story condo with a private elevator at the storied Plaza Hotel is on the market for a cool $25 million. The non-corner apartment is a bit sparse on the windows—floorplan, come clean; that room behind the kitchen is in no way a legal bedroom, and that windowless kitchen is probably pretty depressing. The apartment's $25 million ask this go-around is considerably higher than its 2008 ask of $12.3 million. Maybe the legal three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom apartment underwent a renovation in between, but considering the 2008 and 2014 brokerbabble essentially says the same thing, we doubt any work was $13.7 million worth.
