LONDON (ShareCast) - 0838: UK stocks have started the session slightly higher, buoyed apparently by overnight gains on Wall Street after Fed Chair Janet Yellen took a 'dovish' tack in her speech before the Senate Banking Committee last night. Mondi (LSE: MNDI.L - news) , Old Mutual (Other OTC: ODMTY - news) and William Hill (Other OTC: WIMHF - news) are in the lead early on following their latest final full-year results. News that armed gunmen have also taken control of some airports in the Ukrainian region of Crimea do not seem to be ruffling too many feathers. Serco is leading gains on the FTSE 250 after managing to nab Aggreko (LSE: AGK.L - news) 's Chief Executive. Man Group (Other OTC: MNGPF - news) is in second place. Bank of America Merrill Lynch has upgraded its shares to 'buy'. FTSE 100 up 2 to 6,812.
