    Beat The GMAT—the world’s largest social network for MBA applicants, has eliminated the painstaking process of gathering information on business schools with the launch today of MBA Watch. With this unique new platform, applicants will no longer have to cull through bits of information throughout the web when doing research on business schools. MBA Watch (http://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/school), takes the research process to a whole new level with an unmatched aggregate social media experience, which could mean the difference between acceptance and rejection to business school.

    "Applying to business school requires a lot of research, usually from multiple sources: admissions committee blogs, student blogs, school twitter accounts, YouTube, applicant forums, and much more. We have built a technology that--for the first time--consolidates all of this research from multiple, real-time sources into a single, master feed for each business school,” said the company’s Founder and V.P. of Products, Eric Bahn.

    Some of the key features of MBA Watch include:


    ·    Live Stream. MBA applicants can now review a consolidated stream of the best information available about each business school. MBA Watch features a dedicated stream for each business school, where high-quality news and information is published onto an interactive stream from many sources in real time. The Beat The GMAT community will also be able to submit news/information/events into a school’s stream to share and discuss with other members.


    ·    Current Applicant Stats. For the first time, MBA applicants will now be able to see in real time who else is currently applying to business school with them--organized by deep detail, with key statistics like work experience, GPA and GMAT score. When a BTG member indicates they’re applying to a specific school, their information becomes aggregated with that school’s Current Applicant Stats section, along with other members applying.
