    Medals of America Commemorates the 9/11 Anniversary by Saying “Thank You”

    As We Remember the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, Medals of America Thanks our Veterans for Their Loyal Service.

    This Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11, a fateful day for all Americans. A day that few will ever forget. While this day can be a difficult reminder of the tragedy, and the loved ones we lost, it is also an opportunity for us to thank those who have dedicated their lives during the past ten years to serving our military. Medals of America, the veteran owned and operated premier source for military medals, patches, military badges and more, knows first-hand the dedication, commitment and loyalty each of these men and women have shown, and wants to say “thank you.”

    September 11, 2001, will forever be marked in United States history as a day of devastation and loss. That day thousands lost their lives during the attacks against our country, from the loss of law enforcement officers, firefighters and the victims of the attacks. Other losses followed with the military personnel overseas. Today, there are still soldiers overseas fighting. As of June 30, 2011, according to the The Brookings Institution's Iraq Index, a total of 46,000 U.S. troops are in Iraq. During this time, we should all acknowledge the dedication and commitment to our country that these men and women overseas have shown, as well as recognize the thousands of war veterans who served during this war before them.
