    Medical Billing Company Member Britt Hansen Elected as American Academy of Professional Coders Local Chapter Treasurer for 2012

    Britt Hansen from Capture Billing has been elected the 2012 Treasurer for the Leesburg, Virginia Chapter of American Academy of Professional Coders

    Capture Billing & Consulting, Inc., a medical billing company located in South Riding, Virginia, announces Britt Hansen as the 2012 Treasurer for the Leesburg Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

    According to the AAPC they are “the nation’s largest training and credentialing organization for the business side of medicine”. Their organization consists of members in a variety of fields including medical billing and coding. Their members “represent the highest level of expertise in the industry”. The AAPC provides opportunities in networking, training and certifications as well other professional resources accessed through meetings or online.

    “I am excited to be elected as treasurer for my local chapter of the AAPC. I have seen a great deal of growth occur over the last year and I am looking forward to becoming an integral part of the future continued growth of the organization.     Some of the AAPC treasurer’s major responsibilities are to maintain chapter funds, be primary signer on chapter checking account, and request local chapter reimbursements from AAPC.
