Medicare prescription savings pass $1B mark

What do you think medical care would be like if the President, Congress, Unions, Military and all American Citizens had the same medical insurance. Cut military spending and we could afford it. one third of every dollar goes to the military.

This nurse will tell you that Medicare is still too high for seniors to be able to afford. Many seniors can not afford their medications and go without. Our whole medical system is corrupt.

For Obama to cut Medicare $500 billion and now Medicare premiums will be going up
3.5 % while citing 1 billion in supposed drug savings costs surely doesn't pass any kind
of reasonable muster. More spin from Team Obama will not change fiction into fact.

Methinks this is simply more AP Obama fed propaganda. Obamacare cut Medicare
$500 billion and Medicare Advantage plans by another $140 billion. To write about
supposed savings we have never seen that theoritically comes to $1 billion is like
saving a toothpick in a forest of felled trees.

Who saved a billion dollars? The same people that had faced increases in other areas, that pay taxes that have to cover the same billion? The people not on medicare but got a huge increase in their debt they have to pay back in the future?

Sure, this insurance mandate may have saved medicare recipients $1.2 billion dollars. But, how much did this alleged discount cost the rest of us taxpayers in subsidies?

These posts are proof that teabaggers are mindless droles. They want spending cuts and they get them, but their still mad because President Obama does it. Seniors don't want benefits cut, they get that, but teabagger seniors are mad because President Obama does it. They don't want our country to get better, they just want to control it.

When Obama told all Americans and Pledged "if you like your Health Plan, you will be able to keep it" Remember that ? That is Not True, Obama Lied when he said that, 50% of all Seniors with Medicare Advantage will lose their Plan, simple as that period. That was Reported by Richard Foster in the Annual Report of the Medicare Board of Trustees and Richard Foster is the Chief Actuary for Medicare and was Reported in the Wall Street Journal Sept. 9, 2010 and also the Press Enterprise News Paper Riverside, Californa. For heavens sake, Obamacare cuts the heck out of Medicare, look it up, Google what Obamacare does to Medicare and what Obamacare does to Businesses and to the Workers. Right now 54% of Americans and 26 States want Obamacare Repealed, Obamacare Stinks, simple as that and when YOU find out what's in it you will want it Repealed TOO !! It is good for a small % while the Rest of Americans get Shafted.

I want to hear it from the Seniors themselves. The news media is so biased , and it IS election time. I dont' know anyont who tells me they are saving, so let's hear it?

I'm a senior and it didn't save me a dime and now Medicare premiums are going
up on January 1st. If AP had to submit its articles for truth testing prior to publishing
them, they'd be out of business.
