New York Fashion Week is a global affair — editors, buyers, models, bloggers, glam squads, and celebrities from all around the world come to the city every February and September. And as beauty editors, our favorite people to see again are the makeup and hair artists who transform the fashion show into a theatrical production, occasionally with accessible beauty looks for those of us who can’t afford clothes off the runway. This New York Fashion Week, Maybelline is unveiling the #MaybellineSquad, a new global group of international makeup ambassadors who are leading the looks at the shows, from backstage to center stage. Locally signed artists Grace Lee (Canada), Carole Colombani (France), and Gato (Spain) will join guest artists Yadim, Tom Pecheux, Erin Parsons, Carolina Dali and Benjamin Puckey.

Get to know these three star makeup artists below — we have a feeling you’re going to see more of them beyond NYFW.
